Everyone has unique gifts & strengths they were born with.  I have a passion for people.  I LOVE people!  And I love helping people get from point A to point B, and helping develop someone's career, life goals, and future.  Looking at my strengths, it's pretty clear why I love doing what I do, and why it comes so naturally to me.  I love to strategically develop a better future for everyone around me!

My Top 5 Gallup StrengthsFinder Strengths:

1.  Communication

Those with the Communication strength like to explain, to describe, to host, to speak in public, and to write.  Ideas are a dry beginning. Events are static. They feel a need to bring them to life, to energize them, to make them exciting and vivid.  People like to listen to you. Your word pictures pique their interest, sharpen their world, and inspire them to act.  You will always do well in roles in which you are paid to capture people's attention. Your strengths will probably flourish in teaching, sales, marketing, ministry, or the media.  A person with the strength of Communication has a profound knack to put thoughts and feelings into words, images or any variety of expressions. In fact, people with Communication search for new and concise ways to express the most complex thoughts, ideas, actions or emotions. People with the strength of Communication are generative when they put words to the thoughts and feelings others struggle to express. People with generative Communication usually take time to listen to others, ask meaningful questions, and give the time needed for others to fully express themselves. In so doing, they are able to gather together all that is heard and restate or reframe those thoughts into a concise, simple, or highly personalized manner that helps people understand and make sense of what is going on.  The ability to help others express themselves might be the most generative expression of Communication. The ability to bring words of life to others in need tend to form relationships that are deep, meaningful and bonded over time.

2.  Strategic

The Strategic theme enables you to sort through the clutter and find the best route. It is not a skill that can be taught. It is a distinct way of thinking, a special perspective on the world at large. This perspective allows you to see patterns where others simply see complexity.  Find a group that you think does important work and contribute your Strategic thinking. You can be a leader with your ideas. Strategic comes from the strategic thinking domain, which describes how we absorb and analyze information and situations in an effort to make better decisions.  Those strong in Strategic are creative and imaginative.  They quickly see many options and alternatives, and they find the best one.  The most efficient one. People with the strength of Strategic look for alternative ways to progress forward, often breaking through known obstacles or introducing a completely new way of decision making.

3.  Woo (winning others over)

In your world there are no strangers, only friends you haven't met yet -- lots of them.  Choose a job in which you can interact with many people over the course of a day.  Networking is part of your style.  Social Intelligence: they have an intellectual understanding of how a social environment can work successfully.  Social Integration: They read a room and understand how the elements within a social setting can work together for a positive experience for all.  They are fueled with passion for people to find their voice and unique contribution to groups, teams, and the world whether they be educators, business professionals, or life-long learners.

4.  Developer

You see the potential in others. Very often, in fact, potential is all you see. In your view no individual is fully formed. On the contrary, each individual is a work in progress, alive with possibilities. And you are drawn toward people for this very reason. When you interact with others, your goal is to help them experience success. You look for ways to challenge them. You devise interesting experiences that can stretch them and help them grow. And all the while you are on the lookout for the signs of growth -- a new behavior learned or modified, a slight improvement in a skill, a glimpse of excellence or of "flow" where previously there were only halting steps. For you these small increments -- invisible to some -- are clear signs of potential being realized. These signs of growth in others are your fuel. They bring you strength and satisfaction. Over time many will seek you out for help and encouragement because on some level they know that your helpfulness is both genuine and fulfilling to you.  Seek roles in which your primary responsibilities will be in facilitating growth. Teaching, coaching, or managing roles might prove especially satisfying for you.

5.  Futuristic

"Wouldn't it be great if . . ." You are the kind of person who loves to peer over the horizon. The future fascinates you. As if it were projected on the wall, you see in detail what the future might hold, and this detailed picture keeps pulling you forward, into tomorrow. While the exact content of the picture will depend on your other strengths and interests -- a better product, a better team, a better life, or a better world -- it will always be inspirational to you.  Very often people look to you to describe your visions of the future. They want a picture that can raise their sights and thereby their spirits. You can paint it for them.  Seek audiences who appreciate your ideas for the future. They will expect you to make these ideas a reality, and these expectations will motivate you.  Futuristic comes from the strategic thinking domain, which describes how we absorb and analyze information and situation in an effort to make better decisions.  Those strong in Futuristic talents are visionaries.  They see a better future, and they inspire others to make that a reality.
